Wassup? Recording studio updates - New rescording studio Gear

We’ve been terribly occupied since April through this month of May. It occured to me that I have not updated the blog for quite awhile. Well here goes.

ERF pre-production. We’ve been busy with pre-production for ERF’s debut record, the ERF crew are hard at work fine tuning their already dynamic, powerful and stellar songs - injecting more dynamics and basically just asking the important questions of how to best present their songs in

No hurry. Recording studio is coming together

This month of February has been hectic in a relaxed sort of way. Our expectations were in line that we will not be a 100% commercial operation yet, not even March... maybe April 1st (no pun).

While most of the studio's recording equipment are online and we have actually engaged on a few recording and tracking sessions. We are still waiting for a a few more pieces to complete the sound weaving puzzle that is Sound Weavers Recording Studio.

    Logos studies are in

Thanks to Dino who came up with these nice logo concepts. Things I like..

    the interlocking "S" and "W"

the elliptical/circular shape of all elements

the "rings" although it should be like sound waves, getting thinner to the outside.

More construction updates before 2005 ticks away

Here are photos showing the Sound Weavers recording studio under construction. Finally have time to post them and update the web site. No one seems to be willing to work during the holidays, so no work for me too (well, this is like work already)... Last night I set-up the drum set and pounded away, sounds good so far. Can't wait for Monday Jan. 2, 2006 when we start working on acoustic control and treatments already. More photos to those interested in my studio and also to those interested in building their own recording studios.

    Tracking Room Almost done

Our tracking room is almost finished, A/C installed, doors and windows installed, too. Isolation is so far so good. :-D

Floor panels to be installed next week (the floated floor feels nice, just right - not too bouncy).

Rest of the walls and ceilings should be finished by this week, too… Enjoy the photos.
