Mark Harada is a singer/songwriter from Sydney, Australia who spent 1 week at our recording studio in Makati recording drums, bass, guitar and vocals for his original compositions.

Mark’s tunes can be called folk/alternative, singer/songwriter style ala Wilco, Pete Yorn… melancholic, happy, earthy, real and authentic. Lots of vibe in the songs, really really nice to listen to.

Session notes: Mark brought his Garageband song files (yes, the GARAGEBAND audio recording/mixing software that ships with ANY MAC). His Garageband tunes were loaded to Pro Tools HD sessions as the base of all new tracking and recording. Jonathan Reynera was the recording, mixing and mastering engineer. Ivan Dave played drums. The resulting songs sound GREAT! Dynamics with clarity, grit, space and ambience. MARK’s voice is direct yet haunting, his production and treatment of the songs is stellar… augmenting horn and piano parts where they are least expected.
