I received the M-Audio microtrack II just in time for the New Year festivities, thus here are sounds of the fireworks and firecrackers exploding all over Makati, Philippines during the last hour of 2007 and the first minutes of 2008.

These sounds may hint at a warzone like Iraq or Sulu but NO, it’s from a country of people fond of celebrating the New Year with a BIG BANG! These are bare sounds no processing at all, just the captures from supplied mic.
